Here are some of the compulsory activities in this area:

» training and testing all employees for emergency situations, drawing up individual charts (as per Decree 712/2005);

» elaborating or actualizing, whichever necessary, the documentation which establishes assignments and responsibilities with respect to emergency situations (internal decisions);

» planning fire prevention and extinction within the unit;

» organizing fire fight activities (as per Law 307/2006);

» any other particular documents on the prevention and extinction of fire or on the human protection as per the current legislation (Law 307/2006 and Law 481/2004).

Did you know…

…that as an owner of a commercial building or factory you must have the documents on the projection/construction of the building, such as:

1. Safety recommendation/autorization in case of fire, with the documents endorsed for proof of non alteration on the basis of which they were given;
2. Human protection recoomendation/autorizations;
3. The safety plan in case of fire;
4. The general plan of the building, including floor plans, scale plans as per  the documents of the building;
5. The placing plan – for instance, the survey plan 1/500, which shows the neighbours in all cardinal points, access areas and roads to be used in case of need for an intervention
6. The general installation plan – which shows all units (plumbing, sewerage, gas, power, liquid fuel alimentation sources, if any), their distribution, the exterior hydrants or adiacent water sources;
7. Architectural memorials, descriptive technical memorials of the installations or utilities.
